FAQ-4: Why did JTG choose Philadelphia as its

>>>
JTG was formed in Philadelphia in October 2003 as an
affiliate of the Tokyo-based intellectual property law
firm of Keissen Associates (formerly known by Omori & Yaguchi).
Keisen Associates
established its liaison office in Philadelphia 2000 to
assist U.S. companies and universities with the filing
and prosecution of intellectual property rights in
Japan. It did so because, in addition to a good
knowledge of Japanese intellectual property law and
Japanese language skills, a deep understanding of the
clients' inventions has critical importance for
producing higher quality Japanese patent specifications.
Through its liaison office, the firm can communicate
well with its clients in the United States without the
barriers of language, culture, physical distance or time
differences. Taro Yaguchi, President of the Japan
Technology Group, also says, "Philadelphia is the
birthplace of the United State of America. I
wanted to declare my independence where America became
independent more than 200 years ago."
FAQ-5: Who are the JTG's top competitors?
>>>

in North America with access to a wide pool of
