  PHLDA3 represses Akt directly, and PHLDA3 genomic locus is frequently lost in tumors. Therefore, PHLDA3 protein may work as an antitumor drug and is a potential biomarker for cancer diagnosis.

  Our developing compound, SQAG, sulfolipid known as component of plant thylacoid membrane, showed remarkable effects on tumor by monotherapy and combination therapy with irradiation in vivo experiments.
