Presentations Include:

Fabrication and Material Design of Transparent Solar Cell
Prof. Mutsumi Sugiyama, Tokyo University of Science
Solar cells must provide high conversion efficiency while offering low cost, light-weight, and radiation resistance. Our laboratory proposes new fabrication technologies that afford advantages for the "transparent solar cells window"using inexpensive and safe materials.

Energy Harvesting System with Piezoelectric Polymer
Assistant Prof. Takashi Nakajima, Tokyo University of Science
Energy harvesting using piezoelectric materials has attracted much interest recently owing to its potential use for the energy source of ubiquitous applications. We propose a new energy harvesting system using piezoelectric polymer, which is eco-friendly, low cost, robust and highly efficient.

Modified Diamond Electrodes for Clean Technology
Assistant Prof. Takeshi Kondo, Tokyo University of Science
The specialized boron-doped diamond (BDD) electrodes enables to provide sensitive electrochemical detection of certain analyte, such as oxalic acid, dopamine, hydrogen peroxide, glucose, via surface modification with molecules. This BDD-printed electrodes provides low cost, disposable and sensitive electrochemical platform by using screen printing, and it can be applicable for simple and sensitive monitoring of pollutants in water.

Fully patented innovative vertical axis wind turbine
Bellsion Corporation
Innovative vertical axis wind turbine with the patented blades with winglets starts generating electricity at a wind speed of 2.0 m/s (4.4 mph) or higher. It enables 2.5 times more power generation efficiency than conventional wind turbines.
